Foils / Highlights
Hair highlights are sections of hair that are intentionally lightened, usually using a lightener or hair colour, to create a lighter, contrasting effect with the rest of the hair.
Balayage & Ombre
If you are wanting a lower maintenance type of hairstyle Balayage is a technique for highlighting hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect.
Ombre refers to a hair colouring technique that creates a two-toned effect, typically darker at the roots and lighter at the ends, resulting in a gradual shade transition.

Colour would be one solid colour that is applied to the hair. Also known as hair dyeing, This is the process of changing the colour of your natural hair colour or to cover gray hair, change to a new look, or just doing a root touch up of the grown out part of the hair.

Blowaves
